Red lipstick Day 3!

Day 3.. I have to say I'm kind of disappointed in this one. Today's pick, Covergirl Hot Passion. Now I LOVE me some Covergirl, my current favorite mascara is made by them (more on that in a bit) but this one left me kind of wanting. Its a great candy apple red but I'm not to thrilled with it. I like the color but it bleeds a bit and is drying. I now remember why I don't wear it that often.

The price isn't bad for these, about $6 at Walmart and I have several lipsticks from there. My two favorite ones are Eternal which is a plummy red and Tempt which is a fuchsia red. Don't worry it'll have its very own little post. :)

Since we are on the subject of Covergirl I LOVE their mascara's. My favorite ones are from the lash blast line. The black is really inky and covers my lashes well. I have pretty long lashes and they are thick at the base and the brush gets right in there and I never have any clumps which I love. I have actually had some woman come up to me at the store and ask what kind of lashes I was wearing. She didn't believe me when I said they were my own grown right out of my eye lids and she tried to touch them. I had to pull on them just to prove they were my own. (I have some really ridiculous encounters with people when I'm out places but that's a blog for another time).

Covergirl recently released the Lashblast 24 hour Mascara. The claim is that it last 24 hours and doesn't smudge or rub off. The claim is accurate. I have a nasty habit of going to bed and not washing the makeup off my face (really have to stop doing that) and when I've woken up in the morning I don't have the smudgey mascara face. It washes off easily with soap and warm water or make up remover. I have the Blue Black color and I love it. If you are looking for a new mascara to try it I HIGHLY recommend this one.
